The CHURCH will…
1. Live eternally in a new place. (vv. 1,2)
· New Heaven / New earth / New Jerusalem
2. Live eternally in a new presence. (v. 3)
· With our Triune God
3. Live eternally in a new peace. (v. 4)
· No tears, death, mourning, crying, or pain.
4. Live eternally in a new population. (vv. 6,7)
· Those who are made new in Christ in this life.
GOING DEEPER
1. Remember a time in your life when the hope of Heaven got you through a tough time.
2. Read 1 Peter 2:9-12. What does it mean to be an alien and stranger in this world? How should our life look different?
3. Read Romans 8:18-25. What insights can you gain about hope in these passages?
4. Read Revelation 21 and 22. How is the new Heaven and new earth described?
5. Because we know how the world will end and where we will be, how should we be living our lives now and why?
