Read Ephesians 4:7-16

God is gracious, peaceful, full of goodness, generous, sovereign, loving, inclusive, relational, forgiving, all-knowing, all-powerful, a promise keeper, glorious, merciful, just, peaceful, and the Master Builder…
So, in Christ we are saints, full of faith, immeasurably blessed, chosen, adopted, redeemed, forgiven, wise, understanding, hopeful, heirs with Christ, sealed with the Holy Spirit, a reflector of God’s glory, saved, unified, and built up…
1. God Is a God of Covenants.
· He always has been.
2. God Is in Covenant with Us Now.
· The New Covenant.
3. This New Covenant Is Lived Out Within the Church.
· The Church's Part:
a. Empower You (Ephesians 4:7)
b. Equip You (Ephesians 4:11)
c. Edify You (Ephesians 4:12)
d. Encourage You.
e. Receive gracious accountability,
· Your Part:
a. Affirm your faith in Christ, and Haven’s Statement of faith, and your desire to live out the mission of Christ.
b. Regularly attend and participate in Haven events.
c. Give your tithes and offerings to God through Haven.
d. Join a Life Group.
e. Engage in Haven’s plan for discipleship.
f. Give Haven and others gracious accountability.

Remember a time when you didn’t follow through on a promise… what happened?
Read Psalm 71:22 and Deuteronomy 7:9. What do these verses say about God’s faithfulness?
Read Jeremiah 31:33-37; Luke 22:20; and Hebrews 8:6-8; 8:13; 9:15. What do these verses say about the New Covenant?
How is the New Covenant applied to us? What are the results?
Are you living under the New Covenant and does your life show it? How?
